UI/UX
Summary: I served as the design lead for PureWow.com to produce branded content for various clients. that serve to advertise for these brands while serving their campaign-specific KPIs. The following projects live on PureWow.com and have their own unique UI/UX. Working collaboratively with the Editorial team, I helped produce these campaigns by designing a custom destination for these editorial pieces to live. I then worked closely with our engineers to QA and bring these campaigns to life.
Timeline: Typically 4-6 weeks per campaign (from prototyping through building and setting live)
Team: Design Lead with a product manager and front-end developer.
Challenge: Create a custom UX on PureWow.com that natively advertises for each client to drive their campaign-specific KPIs.
Role: Design Lead - Design the prototype for each user experience, using the content from the editorial team. Provide specific HTML/CSS/JS specs for the engineering team and work with them to QA the prototype once it is built.
Solution: For each client, I created a catered experience to drive KPIs. For clients that wanted general brand awareness, I highlighted their products with surrounding editorial content about the products. For clients that wanted to drive clicks to their website to drive sales, I created shoppable modules and integrated them in the forefront of the content.
Results: The L'Oreal campaign is the top performing piece of branded content on PureWow.com in 2017. The Perdue campaign won an award at The Knotch Awards in 2016 that awards the best in branded content.
